Explore the Contents of the Genealogies of Knowledge Modern English corpus

Each node represents a different author, translator or commentator whose texts we have included in the Genealogies of Knowledge Modern English corpus.

The size of each node represents the number of corpus texts associated with that author, translator or commentator.

The lines between the nodes represent a specific text contained in the corpus which connects these two individuals, e.g. a translation of an author such as Aristotle by a translator such as Benjamin Jowett.

Use the tracking wheel on your mouse to zoom in and view the connections, or click on a node to examine a particular set of connections in detail.

Tables containing more detailed information about the specific texts included in our corpora can be found here.

You can also read more about the design of all of our project's corpora here.
